Type Catalog
December 2010 | student project
December 2010 | student project
This project was a final assignment for my Type II class and we were able to choose any typeface family to represent. At this time, I recently discovered Jean Porchez's typefaces and thought it was the right fit for the feel & layout of the catalog that I was going for. The process was a very enjoyable experience and I believe this was the moment that I finally understood the concept of "typography."
process: I thought it would also be fun to create and design a holder for the catalog and add a flash key with the font files to tie it all together as a packaged kit
fonts used: AW Conqueror by Jean Porchez
materials used: Canon Rebel T5,12x18 paper, laser printer, staples, LaCie flash key
